On July 16, 2011 rural Morgan County will be the path of the 2nd annual Abe’s Tractor Cruise across the Prairie. This event co-sponsored by Prairie Land Heritage Museum, Vintage Ag Association, 104.5 WFMB and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is open to all antique and newer tractors capable of achieving 11 mph for the 29 mile ride.  

The event will depart from the Prairie Land Heritage Museum grounds on Saturday morning going southwest and wind through the countryside, returning to the museum after the ride.

Events at the museum include a antique tractor show, vendor displays, seminars, tours and demonstrations of old time crafts and no event is complete without a wide variety of food and drinks.

The Hat Trick Band will also be performing for your listening pleasure.   

This is a fundraising event for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with all proceeds going to fund research and ongoing funding for the hospital. This event is all about the kids and the local antique tractor clubs and others pledging their full support for this worthy cause. Participants as part of their donation and participating in the cruise will receive a memorial t-shirt advertising all of our vendors and sponsors that have helped make this event a success.
